Body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered on the bank of river in Poonch district on Monday morning. Official sources told that some locals spotted a body lying on the bank of the river near Azad Mohalla and informed police about it. A police team immediately reached the spot and taken the body to district hospital Poonch for medico legal formalities including the postmortem.

SSP Poonch Rajiv Panday while confirming the incident identified the deceased as Mohd Rameez Khan (22) son of Mohd Farooq of Sani Surankote.
